Is Mary Kay Cosmetics A Pyramid Scheme?
(Ask one question, then you decide.)

Not a pyramid

Just ask this question:
Could you make a sustainable profit
without having to recruit other salespeople?

Generally speaking, most people are logical, rationale people when it comes to managing their family’s money.

However, throughout the ages, there have been those individuals who devise schemes to prey upon others.

One such way is through the development of “companies” which are nothing more than multi-level “pyramid schemes.”

As Mary Kay Cosmetics likes to pitch itself as a “dual marketing company,” before being lured in by the predatory tactics of its sales force and getting involved with Mary Kay, women (and their loved ones) might question whether or not the company is, in fact, a MLM pyramid scheme.

A new video posted on the website Pyramid Scheme Alert is a good tool for those that might not know the answer.

In order to answer the question as to whether or not Mary Kay Cosmetics is a pyramid scheme, Pyramid Scheme Alert offers this suggestion:

Spotting a MLM pyramid scheme is simple, but often made to seem “complex”. Just ask this question: Could you make a sustainable profit without having to recruit other salespeople? If the only ones in the MLM that claim to make money have “downlines” (recruits they make money off of), the MLM is an “endless chain”, a pyramid scheme.

While the video, according to Pyramid Scheme Alert was produced with regard to the company Herbalife, it is helpful for others as well.
